All bonsais have varying styles, some are informal upright while others are upright cascade, semi-cascade, literati and raft. Also ranging in size, between miniature to small and medium to average, they can have small fruit or small flowers. There are really only two types of bonsai trees, indoor or outdoor. Feng Shui is a popular Chinese tradition that focus on harmonizing your life with the natural elements like water, fire, and earth. It gives great importance in the correct placement of different lucky charms in your home and workplace. It is believed that such practice will give you a harmonious life through the use of your talents without any difficulties.
Hydroponic (roots immersed in water rather than dirt), lucky bamboo plants are used by Feng Shui practitioners for favorable placement around the home or office to bring good fortune to the occupants as well as the home or business. Dwarfed in the same fashion as the bonsai tree, the Feng Shui bamboos are cute versions of the wild bamboos native to Asia and Africa.

The types of trees that are usually kept indoors and flourish are a kind of tropical tree. The indoor environment is what they are best suited for. It does not hurt them to be placed outdoors for short periods of time in the spring or late summer.
